Though this week’s Ohio University Student Senate meeting will be held in a different location, no new business is on the agenda.
The weekly meeting normally held in Walter Hall will take place at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday in the old dining hall in Bromley Hall. The meeting, usually held in Walter Hall will be taking place in Bromley Hall.
The meeting will include a presentation by Brian Bridges, vice provost for diversity, access and equity.
Bridges, who makes $142,957, announced his departure at the beginning of January.He will now serve as executive director of the United Negro College Fund’s Frederick D. Patterson Research Institute in Fairfax, Va.
Wednesday is Bridges’ last day at OU, and Senate President Kyle Triplett said he expects Bridges to give a farewell speech.
Senate will also discuss the Athens transit system, a topic first presented at last week’s meeting.
