An artist will give a presentation Thursday night about encouraging viewers to notice “The Space Between.”
David LaPalombara, director of Ohio University’s School of Art, will speak at 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Kennedy Museum of Art at The Ridges. His presentation entitled “The Space Between.”
LaPalombara’s presentation will address his artwork, Red Tree, which is currently on display at the museum.
Red Tree, a painted landscape screen, was designed to challenge the viewer both “visually and conceptually,” according to a news release.
LaPalombara has received a Rome Prize Fellowship and a Fulbright Fellowship in Italy. “The Space Between” is recommended for anyone interested in art or anyone following LaPalombara’s work.
