After showing off some Star Wars-esque abilities, the 2012 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival took the world, and myself, by surprise — Tupac Shakur was reincarnated in the form of a hologram. Did I just say that? The crowd rather reacted with confusion than exultation. The stunt, which was hatched by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, cost between $100,000 and $400,000 to pull off, according to several reports.
So where exactly do we go from here? The Dre-Snoop duo now say that they are planning an upcoming tour with holographic Tupac. Sure, this is both ridiculous and awesome, and I will definitely be looking forward to this. Holographic Tupac’s performance was honestly better than most rap artists who are real, live human beings.
Well, I guess that pretty much sums up the future for you.
