“Reach” and “yOU” will square off to decide Ohio University Student Senate’s next executive board, both of which emphasizing college affordability for students.
Zach George, junior studying finance and accounting, has decided to run for president on the “Reach” ticket, with Amrit Saini as vice president and Evan Ecos as treasurer.
George will be running under the pillars of stronger academics, sustainability, safety, inclusion, diversity, outreach, as well as advocacy and affordability.
Tony Koehling, a junior studying political science, will be running under the “yOU” ticket, with Elizabeth Culp as his vice president and Eric Holley as treasurer.
Koehling’s pillars are safety, diversity, budget accountability and enhancing representation.
There are also four independent candidates campaigning.
