Graduate Student Senate: Reloaded PROUD party transitions into new roles

The new installment of the PROUD party made their transitions into office at Monday night’s Graduate Student Senate meeting.

Former President Tracy Kelly handed the gavel over to current President Tynita White, who said she looks forward to working with old and new members next year.

The PROUD party acknowledged Kelly’s work though out her three terms as president by passing a resolution to honor her work with GSS. She will receive a engraved gavel and plaque to commemorate her accomplishments later in the week.

GSS also passed a resolution to induct new members. Newcomers to GSS include Ashley Furrow as the Vice President for Communication and Kat Mitchell, Senator for the College of Arts and Sciences.

The administration will be meeting at the end of the week to discuss developments for next year.
