New voting options available for Student Senate elections

Students don’t have to vote in person at Baker University Center’s fourth floor Thursday.

If students can vote in Baker, they can vote online from 8 am-7 pm Thursday at: https://webapps.ohio.edu/stusenate

Voters will choose a presidential candidate between independent Jared Henderson, yOU’s Tony Koehling and REACH’s Zach George.

Vice presidential candidates are yOU’s Elizabeth Culp and REACH’s Amrit Saini.

Evan Ecos, REACH’s treasurer candidate is running unopposed after yOU’s Eric Holley dropped out after a disorderly conduct violation surfaced.

Voters will also take a stance on OU’s Budget Planning Council where they will answer three questions, including:“Do you feel there is enough student involvement on BPC?” “Do you feel that student input and opinion are respected on BPC?” “Do you agree with the financial advice BPC has provided the Board of Trustees, inadvertently or directly provoking a tuition increase?”
