All of the Board of Trustees’ resolutions passed unanimously at Friday’s meeting under new chairwoman Gene Harris.
Among other resolutions, a decision passed to charge students studying Master of Health Administration an additional $3 per credit hour to compensate for budget restructuring.
Trustees also approved to develop 1.69 acres, adjacent to Zane State College, to build an indoor aquatic and recreation center, according to the agenda.
OU will be responsible for 50 percent of a loan guaranty of not more than $1,500,000, according to the agenda. Muskingham County Community Foundation will be responsible for the remaining amount.
Trustees also approved a new retirement program that will be less limiting to employees, according to the agenda.
This was the first board meeting for newly appointed secretary Peter Mather and trustee Diana Hisey.
