Ohio University's Board of Trustees has a new member.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich appointed Diana Hisey to a nine-year term on the board. Her term will begin at the June 21 and 22 meetings.
“We are very excited about Ms. Hisey joining our Board of Trustees,” said OU President Roderick McDavis. “She is well suited to make a wonderful contribution.”
Hisey will replace outgoing board member C. Robert Kidder.
Hisey is a 1972 OU alumna. She studied communications and theater. Her husband, Tim, and one of her three sons also attended OU.
“We were delighted that she was the person selected,” McDavis said. “We always want alumni back when we can have them.”
Hisey is CEO and chief creative officer of The EDI Group, Inc., which is based in Cincinnati and provides event planning, production and marketing services.
