Ohio University President Roderick McDavis announced his appointment of Jennifer Kirksey to chief of staff and special assistant to the president.
In the 12 years Kirksey has been at OU, she has worked as media specialist, assistant to the president and strategic communication advisor and developer.
“I am very pleased to appoint Jennifer to the position,” McDavis said. “She comes well prepared. I am very much looking forward to working with her. I think she brings a special set of talents to the position.”
Kirksey replaces Becky Watts, who is now working at Ohio’s Board of Regents. Watts made $124,962 in her position as chief of staff.
