Freshman year, don't worry about it

New members of the Ohio University and Athens community will begin to worry about many different things such as grades, making friends, finding a significant other and staying out of trouble upon arrival.

However, for those worried about the big change, I’ve compiled a list of things that those new to the community won’t have to give a single thought to, let alone worry about.

You will never have to worry about meeting a celebrity.

Rarely, if ever, do they decide to stop in Southeast Ohio, so there is no need to fret about meeting one.

You will never have to worry about getting lost in an Athens subway station.

Though, if you’re craving a $5 footlong, you might have some trouble finding the Subway on Court Street.

You will never have to worry about encountering dangerous jungle cats.

Just don’t travel to Zanesville.

You will never have to worry about tracking down tickets to see OU play in the Final Four. Though the team made a great run in the NCAA tournament this year, chances are you won’t see it happen again soon.

You will never have to worry about crossing the street. You will understand this after your first few days here; pedestrians seem to have the right of way even when traffic has a green light.

You will never have to worry about finding Waldo. There are at least a thousand of him out on Halloween.
