Tonight’s Ohio University Student Senate will feature a presentation by Athletics Director Jim Schaus, a discussion led by student trustee Allison Arnold and a reading of senate’s first resolution of the academic year.
Schuas is set to discuss this year’s uses of the multipurpose facility.
A discussion on OU President Roderick McDavis’ recent 9.2 percent pay increase will be lead by Arnold to explain the Board of Trustees’ reasoning behind the increase.
Senate will again approach the issue of a conflict-free campus by its first reading of Resolution 1213-04. This resolution thanks the university for its symbolic statement it made about conflict-free electronics on campus.
“It’s great – they’ve put a lot of effort in it the past few years,” said senate President Zach George.
