Ohio University students gathered to “Yell Like Hell” on College Green Thursday afternoon.
OU President Roderick McDavis shouted to the almost 250 students on the green while they enjoyed complimentary pizza and drinks.
McDavis referenced OU’s football team, which has a record of 6-0, soon to be 7-0, he said.
“I really liked President McDavis’ talk,” said Megan Vehslage, a senior studying communication sciences and disorders. “It was really energizing.”
A pumpkin pie eating contest pitted Interim Vice President for Student Affairs Ryan Lombardi against several students. Lombardi exhibited impeccable napkin and silverware manners.
