In the middle of his seven-day road tour across Ohio as he campaigns for re-election to the U.S. Senate, Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, will speak to a crowd at Ohio University outside Scripps Hall on Monday.
Brown will be in Athens at about 1 p.m., after a stop in Marietta, where Brown will have toured a small business, according a release from the Ohio Democratic Party.
With rain expected on Monday, planners are trying to finalize a rain location on campus, said Sadie Weiner, a spokeswoman for Brown’s campaign.
After speaking in Athens, Brown will speak to workers at the Ohio State University Endeavor Center in Piketon and supporters at a Chillicothe park.
