A Guysville man appeared in court Wednesday for allegedly molesting an 8-year-old boy.
Travis Noble, 19, was arraigned for one count of gross sexual imposition in Athens County Municipal Court.
Noble allegedly had sexual contact with an 8-year-old boy on Monday, according to court documents. Because it is a felony, Noble did not enter a plea on the charge.
He is currently being held in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail on $25,000 bond with 10 percent allowed.
Gross sexual imposition is a fourth-degree felony. Noble could be sentenced to a maximum of 18 months in prison and a maximum fine of $5,000 if convicted of the charge at a trial, according to the Ohio Revised Code.
Noble is due back in court Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. for a preliminary hearing.
