Keller and two accomplices accused of vandalism

A former Ohio linebacker, known for tearing up opponents’ backfields throughout his collegiate career, has been accused of vandalizing a field in his hometown of Kearny, Neb.

Noah Keller, who played for the Bobcats and signed as a free agent for the St. Louis Rams, has been charged with conspiracy to commit felony criminal mischief of $1,500, after allegedly vandalizing University of Nebraska at Kearny’s baseball field according to a report on KearnyHub.com.

A warrant is out for Keller's arrest in Buffalo County, Neb.

Keller, along with two others, drove to Memorial Field and tried to break into the complex by ramming the fence with their trucks in the early morning on Nov. 1, according to KearnyHub.com’s report.

The group drove to Memorial Field, in Keller’s hometown, and tried to break into the complex by ramming the fence with the trucks. After the attempt was unsuccessful, the trio went to Wal-mart to by bolt cutters to cut through the fence.

They returned with the bolt cutters and made their way onto the field. The report states that the truck proceeded to 'round the bases' on the infield before spinning in the outfield a few times.

The police report alleges that Keller recorded the incident on his phone. Damages to field are estimated at $91,781.

One of the accomplices, Christopher Stover, has cooperated with police as of Friday. Keller has not yet been arrested.

If convicted, Keller could spend the next five years in prison along with an unspecified fine, according to police reports.
