Though classes are over, two Ohio University leaders recently asked students for their help in planning an on-campus activity through an off-campus survey.
In an email to students sent on December 10, interim Vice President for Student Affairs Ryan Lombardi and Student Senate President Zach George appealed to the OU student body for their opinion on scheduling OU’s spring concert.
Students are being given two options for the spring concert: a single large concert in The Convo or three smaller concerts in Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium during the spring semester.
“Give the transition from quarters to semesters, the limited availability of the convo, the shorter academic year and other extenuating circumstances, we wanted to give the student body option to ensure the best possible outcome,” George said.
Since resurrecting OU’s spring concert in 2011, the university has not held multiple spring concerts — only one large event, according to previous Post articles.
“We have not yet said that having a multi-day option is better,” George said. “It is just another potential option available to students if interested.”
