Ohio University's party animals have a new reason to cheer.
Tuesday, The Number
Fest announced online that its 11th edition will take place April 13.The festival will be at the same location as last year’s, between West Union Street and Township Highway 557.
The time slot was selected based on student input following concerns about the organization’s previously announced date, April 27, which would have occurred during finals week, according to the fest’s website.
“In the end, both The Number Fest and YOU agreed that April 13th would be a more appropriate date,” the site states.
The lineup will be released at a later date. Dominic Petrozzi, the fest’s founder, said the crew is currently accepting recommendations for local acts to fill remaining slots.
“(11Fest) is by far the biggest festival we’ve had,” Petrozzi said.
Tickets will go on presale Feb. 1 at $20 each, $10 off the general admission, which will be available Feb.4.
