Ohio University has introduced a 10-year plan for a major facelift to one its housing greens.
Beginning May 2013, South Green will undergo the first of three phases for complete re-construction. The first phase will focus on the infrastructure of future residence halls that will cost in the range of $95-105 million. Phase one is estimated to be completed in six years, said Christine Sheets, assistant vice president for Capital and Facilities Planning.
Boards with different outlines and mapping of the future South Green will remain on the third-floor of Baker University Center until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged leave comments pertaining to the project and ask additional questions to administrators on-hand.
