The Ohio University Police Department is seeking information about an arsonist who set about eight fires in Tiffin Hall.
At about 9:20 a.m. Saturday, OUPD received a report from an OU employee that someone had ignited papers hanging on doors and walls in Tiffin Hall, an East Green residence hall, according to an OUPD alert.
The fires were set at about 3 a.m. Saturday, according to the alert.
In several spots, the fiery papers burned the carpet in the building. There was only minor damage reported, according to the alert.
