A water line on North Congress Street burst early Tuesday morning, causing flooding and affecting residents on nearby streets.
The break was caused by a major water leak, said Nick Joseph, division of water supervisor for the Department of Engineering and Public Works.
The break won't affect Ohio University's campus but will cause some residents of North Congress Street to temporarily lose their water supply.
