President McDavis to speak at Student Senate

With four meetings left this school year, Student Senate is looking to make each one count.

Ohio University President Roderick McDavis will be speaking to senate Wednesday night about how OU Communications and Marketing is reshaping the university’s core values.

Senate President Zach George will give his State of the Senate address to the body following the presentation by OU’s top administrator.

Senate’s Research Director, Joe Cheng, will also be updating the body on an alternative view to the Guaranteed Tuition model, while Heather Wilson will present about the blood drive.

A vote will take place on a resolution to endorse OU creating a “preferred name policy,” that would allow students, faculty, staff, or alumni to be referred to from the university by their preferred name.
