Late Tuesday night, Glee star Lea Michele tweeted a very important tweet:
According to Broadway.com, Idina Menzel's next guest appearance will be sometime in mid-April, which means I will anxiously be waiting until that day.
One of the few guest stars who has always had an excellent performance on the show, Menzel's character, Shelby Corcoran, has had an amazing storyline throughout the seasons. From being Rachel's (Lea Michele) birth mother to having a fling with Puck (Mark Salling), Menzel has proven her talent as an actress who excels both on the Broadway stage and off – unlike our friends over at Smash.
Not to mention the fact that she has the voice of an angel.
No news yet as to what her new storyline will entail for this season. My ultimate hope: Rachel and Shelby battle it out for the Funny Girl revival everyone at NYADA is talking about. I would love life if that happened. However, I wouldn't doubt it that Rachel is pregnant and that Shelby simply comes to help out.
Either way, I just want to see Idina Menzel on my TV.
