The cast for Ohio University’s first ever comedy night is set.
Whitney Cummings rounds out the list of comedians set to perform at the event on April 18, alongside Jim Gaffigan and Kenan Thompson.
Tickets will go on sale Thursday, March 14, for students costing $5. Tickets for the general public will go on sale the following Monday, March 18 for $20.
Cummings will be paid $42,000 for her appearance, leaving OU with a remaining $8,000 to cover overhead costs, OU Student Senate President Zach George said.
Gaffigan will receive $65,000 for his performance while Thompson’s pay totals $35,000.
OU is spending $150,000 of student General Fee money to pay the three comedians to perform at The Convo, money that was previously allocated to the multipurpose center, according to a previous Post article.
