The Athens episode of AMC’s Showville airs Thursday at 10 p.m.
The unscripted competition series brings a taste of fame to American small towns where locals compete in a talent show for the chance to win $10,000.
The fourth episode of the eight-episode series was filmed in Athens at ARTS/West, 132 W. State St.,
earlier this year.
"I think it’s great, there are so many talented people in Athens, and I think it’s great they get some recognition and to help get Athens on the map,” said Janice Evans, event coordinator for ARTS/West in a previous Post article.
After the premiere at 10 p.m., the episode will be replayed on AMC Friday at 2:30 and 4:30 a.m. and Monday at 3:15 and 9 a.m.
