A spark is catching.

The second installment of The Hunger Games trilogy will premiere in four months. Catching Fire continues where The Hunger Games left off. Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) begin their victory tour across Panem, a country now stirring with the spark of rebellion. To help quell the disillusion, President Snow (Donald Sutherland) makes the 75th annual Hunger Games, known as the Quarter Quell, a game between past victors, meaning Katniss and Peeta are back in the games.

A new trailer was shown at the San Diego Comic-Con Saturday to an audience of 6,500 fans. The trailer debuted exclusively on Yahoo! Movies.

According to the Yahoo! Movies blog, those black bars at the top and the bottom of the screen vanish at the end of the trailer because the action filmed in the arena was shot on IMAX cameras — like in The Dark Knight — so the picture will fill large-format screens.

As a huge fan of the trilogy, I am very excited to see the newest Hunger Games film, though I must admit that I think Lawrence's Katniss could be a little less monotone. It's nearly impossible to capture all of the emotions from the book for the films largely ignore Katniss's inner monologue. However, no one can deny the spectacular visual quality the films give to author Suzanne Collins' words, and I think this trailer can prove that point. I'd be remiss to go without mentioning how Elizabeth Banks, who plays Effie Trinkett, steals the whole trailer with only a one-second feature at 1:21. Banks could not be more perfect in the role.
