Nick Offerman to visit Ohio University as part of Performing Arts Series

Fans of NBC's Parks and Recreation rejoice. Nick Offerman, best known for portraying the office's manly-man, Ron Swanson, will head to the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium on Nov. 9 as part of his American Ham Comedy Tour.

Nick Offerman has been nominated for numerous awards for his role on the sitcom, including the Critic's Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy in 2011. He won the Television Critics Association Award for Achievement in Comedy in 2011.

The sixth season of Parks and Recreation will premiere in September.

Offerman has also forayed into movies, such as Casa De Mi Padre and 21 Jump Street, along with film festival flicks Smashed and Somebody Up There Likes Me.

Pre-sale tickets for the show can be purchased through the MemAud ticket office July 11 and 12 starting at noon. Ticket prices are $30 for the first 10 rows and $20 for the remaining rows.
