Nigerian band Tal National has cancelled a number of dates on its upcoming tour including the show at Stuart’s Opera House, 52 Public Square, Nelsonville.
The performance was planned for Sept. 25 and was partnered with the Ohio University Performing Arts Series to bring the international band to the region.
Rachel Digregorio, a representative from the band’s promotional group Rock Paper Scissors, said Tal National was forced to cancel tour dates because of “unforeseen Visa issues.”
Brian Koscho, marketing director for Stuart’s, said all pre sale tickets will be refunded and will be contacted about the matter shortly.
