The Ohio University Police Department recieved a report of a burglary from Fenzel House on Monday, authorities said in an email apparently sent out to South Green residents. The burglary took place at approximately 5:30 a.m, according to police.
The victim, not named in the email, reported that she woke up and saw a male standing in her room and leaning over her desk. The male stole her property from the desk and left the room.
The suspect is described as being 5’7” to 5’10”, thin to average build, reddish beard, wearing a black winter hat and a dark colored hoodie.
The male was last seen leaving the building shortly afterwards, heading towards the Nelson Garage.
