Diet Coke
Once upon a time I cared about not ingesting artificial sweeteners and drinking more water, and then I swiftly laughed and bought myself a 20 oz. bottle of Diet Coke. You see, some are addicted to pizza, others vintage video games, but me, I am addicted to the sweet, sweet nectar of Diet Coke. Those who work with me will say my desk is covered in empty bottles and I am on a constant pseudo-sugar high. Nothing gets me through a day more easily than a freshly opened Diet Coke. Just try it.

Sherlock
I like to think I’m ahead of the curve on a lot of things — but sometimes I’m a few steps behind. Sherlock is one of those such instances. I’ve heard for a long time I should check out the British show, but I resisted. It was one of those things where I heard too often that I had to watch it, and that Benedict Cumberbatch is a god. I gave in Friday night though, and since then I’ve watched the entire first two seasons — or, as the British call them, series. I have to say, Martin Freeman is more my cup of tea than dear old Benedict (I’m just not getting the obsession…) and the 1.5-hour episodes lose my interest sometimes, but overall, I dig it. Check it out on Netflix this weekend while you anxiously await next week’s House of Cards return.
