Glouster police chief arrested on two felony counts

The Village of Glouster Police Chief was arrested Friday night on a pair of felony charges.

A search warrant was executed at the Glouster Police Department in conjunction with help from Glouster mayor Miles Wolf, according to a release from Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn's office.

Chief Luke Mace faces two counts of obstruction of justice, which is a fifth-degree felony, according to the release.

Local law enforcement officials from four different agencies — the Athens County Sheriff’s Office, the Athens Police Department, the Ohio University Police Department and the Athens County Prosecutor’s Office arrested Mace in a joint operation with investigation assistance by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation
