A window was broken out in Sigma Kappa's sorority house late Tuesday night.
A kitchen window in the basement of Sigma Kappa's sorority house was shattered late Tuesday night at the 22 North College St. residence, according to the Athens Police Department.
A member of Sigma Kappa told police two unknown males had broken out the window, which is located on the front left side of the house, closest to the sidewalk, and damaged the wooden frame, according to the police report.
The damages value $150, the report said.
With no suspects or leads, police closed the case, according to the report.
“I got a call from one of our girls that a brick had been thrown through one of our basement windows leading into the kitchen and they had called the police,” said Sigma Kappa President Alexandria Kreutler. “We do not know who did this; all we could do at that point was call the police and make a report.”
