Field Hockey: 15 things you could do since Ohio scored its last regulation goal

The Bobcats haven’t scored a regulation goal in 399 minutes of play. Staff Writer Luke O’Roark lists 20 things you could in that time span.

Ohio hasn’t scored a goal in regulation in 399 minutes — or six hours and 39 minutes — since the last score came six games ago from freshman Megan Silveira against Ohio State on Sept. 12.

Here’s a few things that you could do in that period of time:

  1. You could watch two-thirds of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. (379 minutes)

  2. You could watch the whole 86th Academy Awards ceremony. (214 minutes)

  3. You could watch James Cameron’s Avatar … twice. (356 minutes)

  4. You could run 25 miles at a 15-minute pace per mile. (375 minutes)

  5. You could play 19 games of Madden if quarters were five minutes long.

  6. You could drive from Athens to Columbus four times.

  7. You could drive from Athens to Cincinnati twice.

  8. You could drive to Cleveland and watch more than half a Browns game.

  9. You could watch Star Wars Episode IV, V, and VI (379 minutes)

  10. You could listen to every solo Kanye West album (357 minutes)

  11. You could watch 13 episodes of The Simpsons.

  12. You could probably wait in Court Street’s Chipotle line 20-30 times.

  13. You could get an average night’s worth of sleep.

  14. You could travel to Nashville, Tennessee, from Athens. (381 minutes)

  15. You could run about two marathons.
