Hockey: Final CSCHL standings, tournament draw announced for Bobcats

Ohio drew the top seed and a first round bye in this weekend's Central States Collegiate Hockey League tournament after winning the regular season league title. It is the first regular season title for the Bobcats since the 2009-10 season.

The tournament, hosted by Illinois, will begin with a game between Iowa State and Illinois, Friday at 7:30 p.m., the winner of which will face Ohio on Saturday. The two semifinal games will be played at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, and the finals will take place Sunday at 11:30 a.m. All starts are listed Eastern Standard Time.

Ohio edged out Robert Morris by two points in the final standings, and finished the season with a 9-3-5 record in the CSCHL, while finishing 25-6-5 overall. Rounding out the league standings behind Robert Morris was Lindenwood, Illinois and Iowa State.

This is Ohio's first season under head coach Sean Hogan. It has won the CSCHL regular season title ten times since joining the league in 1993-94.
