Post Haste: Check out one Ohio University group's eclectic Homecoming playlist; ResponsibleOhio stopped by

Good morning. Here's what you need to know for Monday, Oct. 5, 2015:

It’s Homecoming week. Are you ready?

The Ohio Student Alumni Board seems to be. A Post reporter recently came across the organization’s Homecoming playlist on Spotify, and it’s interesting, to say the least.

The nearly two-hour ensemble is a mish-mash of pretty old tunes, older tunes and downright throwbacks, most of which have the word “home” somewhere in the title.

Roughly halfway through the playlist, listeners will encounter Bruce Springsteen’s immortal “My Hometown,” immediately followed by Drake’s “Hold on, We’re Going Home.” The playlist then dives right into John Mayer’s “On the Way Home.”

It’s unclear when exactly you’ll have the chance to hear the playlist in action, but you might catch it at one of SAB’s Homecoming events this week.

The organization is partnered with the OU Alumni Association to put on an uptown business decorating contest, a fundraiser for a local food pantry and the “Yell Like Hell” pep rally.
