Post Haste: Find out when Athens' infamous spring fests will be; The Hungry Cat moved

Get hyped.

Good morning. Here's what you need to know for Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016:

For many, spring means warmth, wildlife and sunshine. That holds true for Ohio University students, with an addition: Fest season.

If you’re looking forward to those days of booze-fueled merriment, you can start to mark your calendar.

Over the weekend, a Facebook page called “Fests of Athens, OH” listed dates for five Fests. Those dates are as follows:

  • March 11 — Milliron Fest

  • March 12 — Mill Fest

  • March 19 — High Fest

  • April 08 — Palmer Place Fest

  • April 09 — Palmer Fest

That missing weekend is Moms Weekend.

Check back with The Post following each Fest for detailed arrest statistics and comments from local police forces.
