SB Nation assigns Pokémon names to college football team, and an OU student volunteers in Gov. John Kasich's campaign.
Good morning. Here’s what you need to know for Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016:
SB Nation is known for its GIFs and often hilarious lists. On Monday it may have released its best list yet: All 129 major college football teams as Pokémon.
Here are five you might care about.
Ohio: SB Nation assigned the ‘Cats snake-like, poison-type Ekans, because apparently Ohio is known for its early season success despite lacking the chance for any big-time glory.
Ohio State: The “bro-est,” of all Pokemon, Machamp.
Marshall: It can beat some quality teams and has weird fans, so SB Nation gave it Oddish.
Akron: The article called the Zips “largely irrelevant,” so they got dished Lickitung.
In case you care, Miami got Professor Oak. Go figure.
