We could get three inches by week's end.
Good morning. Here's what you need to know for Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016:
Put your frisbees and hammocks away. Old man winter is in one of his moods.
A winter storm is set to roll through the Ohio Valley and Appalachian regions later this week.
It even has a name: Petros (Peter, in its original Greek).
The storm is expected to bring a few inches of snow and hefty winds to the Athens area Thursday, according to Wunderground.
It could be worse. The Northeast U.S. is braced for up to .25 inches of ice through Thursday.
