Twitter had its own opinions and thoughts on the announcement from President McDavis of retirement after the next academic year.
After speculation on what Ohio's "special announcement" would be, President Roderick McDavis announced that he would retire after the next academic year.
Twitter had something to say about it. Some were surprised, while others already started guessing who would fill the position.
Some were looking for a big announcement for #fest or a graduation speaker.

But that's not to say it wasn't a surprise to some.
WOW! @ohiou President Roderick J. McDavis announced he will step down as president on June 30, 2017. #OUAnnounce #ThankYouMcDavis #ohiou

A big side story was how rough the video stream was that was put on by the university.
While #OUAnnounce buffers, I keep thinking Donald Trump has been named new Ohio U. president.
