A remake of Raiders of the Lost Ark is coming to the Athens International Film Festival.
Good morning. Here's what you need to know for Wednesday March 23, 2016:
Many people know about Steven Spielberg's 1981 masterpiece Raiders of the Lost Ark, starring Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. What many movie watchers don’t know about is Raiders of The Lost Ark: The Adaptation, starring Chris Strompolos.
Made in the 1980s by a few Mississippi teenagers, who also starred in the movie with their friends, it is a shot-for-shot remake of the original film that’s gone on to attract a large cult following.
The film is coming to the Athena for the Athens International Film and Video Festival for a midnight screening on Friday, April 8.
