Twitter has a lot to say about Ohio University's mystery announcement
Ohio University sent an email to university employees Wednesday regarding a "special announcement." The event starts Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the Margaret M. Walter Hall Rotunda. While no one seems to know what will be announced at the event, Twitter pundits are already coming up with their own ideas.
My guess for #OUAnnounce is that we're finally putting in a slide down Jeff Hill. Thoughts, @Buddha_Ohio?

The #OUAnnounce hashtag first appeared in a Twitter conversation started by Jacob "Buddha" Hagman, an administrative specialist for the Scripps College of Communication and Stephanie Tikkanen, an assistant professor in Scripps. Hagman said "@ohiou just told everyone that McDavis is going to announce his retirement tomorrow," but Tikkanen seemed a bit more skeptical.
