Good morning. Here's what you need to know for Wednesday, April 13, 2016:
Alex Sheen, an OU alumnus who has been featured on The Today Show, the Steve Harvey Show and Good Morning America will deliver the keynote address for International Week at OU.
Sheen’s organization, “Because I said I would,” is a non-profit “social movement” dedicated to raising awareness of certain issues through promise cards.
Over the past four years, Sheen has trekked across the state of Ohio to raise awareness for violence against women, worked to donate 100 tickets to Disneyland to children diagnosed with cancer and volunteered in Ferguson, Missouri, according to the organization’s website.
You can hear Sheen’s speech on tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Baker University Center Theatre.
