The movie is slated to come out at the end of this year.
Good morning. Here's what you need to know for Friday, April 8, 2016:
The trailer for a new Star Wars spin-off premiered Thursday and people are hyped, to say the least.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will act as a sort-of prequel to Episode IV: A New Hope (the first movie) and will follow a group of rebels set on stealing plans for the death star.
Gareth Edwards will direct the movie. He also directed the most recent Godzilla movie and worked on Nova for a spell. Edwards described the movie as taking place in the Star Wars universe, but being “self-contained.”
Sorry, looks like there’ll be no BB-8 this time around.
