Football: Ohio running back Papi White makes 'SportsCenter' with jump ball catch

The Ohio offense dominated more than just the Buffalo defense last night.

The unit’s first play of the game, a 73-yard touchdown pass from Quinton Maxwell to Papi White, was a top 10 play Thursday night on ESPN’s SportsCenter.

Ohio defeated Buffalo 34-10 on Thursday, with its offense totaling 392 yards. Maxwell passed for two touchdowns and 236 passing yards. White finished with 113 receiving yards.

White’s jump ball catch over the Buffalo defensive back was one of his best catches of the year.

With White’s touchdown being just one example of Ohio’s offense hitting its stride near the end of the season, the Bobcats are in good position to win the Mid-American Conference East Division, something they haven’t done since 2011.

Ohio only needs to win one more game to win the division, but it can also secure the division with a loss from Akron.

Ohio will have its bye week next week, and it will play at Central Michigan on Nov. 15.
