After consecutive double-double games, Quiera Lampkins earned herself a second-straight Mid-American Conference East Player of the Week award Tuesday morning.
Following her 19-point, 14-rebound performance against Duquesne, Lampkins continued her hot streak against IUPUI on Sat., Dec. 10, with 24 points and 10 rebounds to help keep Ohio undefeated this year.
"(Kiki) was terrific," coach Bob Boldon said, following the IUPUI game. "She had two fouls two minutes into the game and was able to sit down for a minute and hit the reset button. I'm glad she's on our team."
Lampkins double-double was her third of the season.
Ohio is going to need a repeat performance from her as they get ready to face Big Ten competitor, Michigan. Ohio is off to its second 7-0 start in program history.
The Bobcats are set to tip-off against the Wolverines on Tuesday night at 6:30 pm on the road.
