Inmates Justin Stanley and and Troy Byrd escaped from a Nelsonville prison and remain at large (provided via SEPTA).

Three inmates escape from Nelsonville correctional facility, one recaptured

Three inmates escaped from a Nelsonville correctional facility on Saturday, and two remain at large.

According to a news release, the SEPTA Correctional Facility reported David Skeens and Justin Stanley missing at 3 a.m. Saturday morning. SEPTA also reported at about 8 p.m. that Troy Byrd had escaped.

Skeens was recaptured by police in Licking County, but the other two inmates remain at large, according to the release.

Stanley is a 25-year old man who weighs 190 pounds and is 6 feet 2 inches tall, according to the release. He has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a black shirt with blue jeans and black shoes. He was incarcerated at SEPTA for burglary.

The release describes Byrd, 29, as 5 feet 7 inches tall and 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans and a blue hoodie and has a tattoo on his neck. Byrd was incarcerated for possession of heroin.
