Ohio was picked to finish second in the Mid-American Conference East Division Preseason Coaches Poll on Tuesday.
The poll was voted on by the MAC’s head coaches throughout the conference. The Bobcats earned one vote to win the MAC Tournament this season.
There are two Bobcats on the Preseason All-MAC East Division Team. Senior outside hitter Jaime Kosiorek and redshirt senior middle blocker Ali Lake were selected.
Miami was chosen to win the MAC East Division and Ball State was picked to win the West Division.
The Bobcats will begin the regular season Aug. 25, against Murray State in Birmingham, Alabama in the Courtyard by Marriott Invitational.
