Ohio linebacker Quentin Poling was named to the 2018 Senior Bowl Watch List on Thursday afternoon, according to a news release from the Ohio Athletic Department.
Poling was a First Team All-Mid-American Conference selection last season in his redshirt junior year. He finished with 110 tackles, 67 solo tackles and four sacks. At middle linebacker, he was a large part of a defense that ranked third in total defense and first in run defense in the MAC. He has 267 career tackles.
Poling was one of 18 other players in the MAC that were named to the watch list.
The Bobcats run defense was sixth in the country last season with 105.8 yards allowed per game, helped in part due to Poling at middle linebacker.
