Ohio running back A.J. Ouellette earned the Mid-American Conference East Division Offensive Player of the Week award on Monday afternoon, the conference announced on its Twitter page.
Ouellette rushed for a season-high 102 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries in a 42-30 win over Kansas at Peden Stadium on Saturday.
The redshirt junior is in his first season back as a Bobcat after a Lisfranc injury derailed his 2016 campaign.
Through three games, Ouellette is averaging 6.2 yards per carry, which would be the highest of his career if it extends through the season.
Ouellette and the Bobcats will be back on Saturday afternoon at Eastern Michigan to take on the Eagles. Kickoff is at 2 p.m.
