Ohio redshirt sophomore safety Javon Hagan stares down the Western Michigan offense during the 2016 MAC Championship game at Ford Field in Detroit. Hagan was the MAC Freshman of the Year after totalling 53 tackles and 3 interceptions.

Football: Javon Hagan, Ohio's towel thief

Opponents have always had a reason to watch out for safety Javon Hagan.

The Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year last year, Hagan entered his redshirt sophomore season with a hidden talent.

Now, opponents have to watch out for Hagan after the whistles — Hagan is apparently a master towel stealer. Seriously.

Hagan tweeted out a video of him stealing a towel off the hip of Jayhawks wide receiver Quan Hampton with the caption, "I'm A Thief In The Night."

As of Monday afternoon, the tweet had more than 4,000 retweets and 10,000 likes. It even was quote tweeted by Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver John Ross III.

That was almost the end of it, until Hagan quote tweeted a video of him at last year's Dollar General Bowl against Troy.

He was stealing another towel.

Keep an eye out for Hagan as Ohio's season moves on. Forget the on-field talent he brings, it might be more fun to count the towels he collects.
