Linebacker Quentin Poling and kicker Louie Zervos earned Mid-American Conference East Division Players of the Week on Monday, following Ohio's 38-10 win over Toledo.
Poling, a redshirt senior, helped hold Toledo's offense to its lowest point total of the season. He finished with 12 tackles (five solo) and three sacks. With those sacks, he put himself as the all-time leader for tackles for loss in Ohio history (44).
Zervos, a redshirt sophomore, converted on his only field goal attempt of 44-yards. He also went five-for-five on extra point attempts.
Ohio will face Akron on Tuesday night. If the Bobcats win, they'll win the MAC East and clinch a spot in the MAC Championship Game on Dec. 2.
